Three races will crown first Investchem MSA4 champion at Zwartkops

KC Ensor-Smith may arrive at Zwartkops leading the championship into the first-ever Investchem MSA4 finale, but with three races to run, 32 points on the table and the variable of drop points ready to confuse things even further, this one’s not going to be over until that fat lady has sung.

KC Ensor-Smith has led the championship all the way in his African Heating Investchem MSA. But the tenacious Mikel Bezuidenhout has kept close throughout, winning the four races out of nine that Ensor-Smith did not. So Mikel and his Cosmonet Huawei Corse di Gemelli version sit just five championship points behind. Of course KC dominated the first round at Zwartkops back in June, so he will be looking for a repeat in Pretoria.

That is however not all, with Renzo Ribeiro, Shrien Naidoo, and Karabo Malemela also all still within championship striking distance. Naidoo will however sit this one out due to varsity exams, while Ribeiro will need a miracle to wrest the championship or even that second place in his Metal Used Spares entry. And KMFT Morita lad Karabo Malemela needs even more than a miracle to steal it.

Still, you can be rest assured that Ribeiro, Malemela, Red Dot Vantage racer Liam Polome and Namibian Adriaan Nel and his Central Cycles MSA4 will be after maiden Investchem MSA4 race victories this weekend. And never ignore Veteran Nick van Weely and his Magnificent Paint & Hardware MSA4 either.

Other up and coming Investchem MSA4 racers to look out for at Zwartkops include racing ladies Anastasia Gerasis’ Apex Cordset car and Investchem lass Simphiwe Mohlahl, Ndazlo Khosa’s MakaselaAir machine, Jorden Moodley and Red Dot Vantage racer Kian Spies.

Investchem MSA4 joins a full National Extreme Festival presented by Coca-Cola program at Zwartkops on Saturday 25 October. See you at Zwartkops!
