Motorsport South Africa (MSA) will host an MSA Motocross Marshals Training Session at Zone 7 MX Track on Saturday, 18 July 2026.

The training day is open to both existing marshals and anyone interested in becoming part of the MSA marshal team. With a focus on motocross, the session combines theory and practical training to prepare marshals for the important role they play at race events.

The training is mandatory for all existing MSA motocross marshals, who should book their place through their respective Chief Marshal.

The session is also open to anyone 16 years or older who has a passion for motorsport and would like to become a marshal. No previous experience is required, making it an ideal opportunity to get involved in the sport.

Marshals are a vital part of every motorsport event. They assist with track safety, respond to on-track incidents, communicate with race control and help ensure events are conducted safely for competitors, officials and spectators. The training equips participants with the practical knowledge and confidence needed to perform these duties safely and effectively at motocross events.
