Having concluded her 2022/23 Tillotson T4 Series a few weeks back, Victron Energy brand ambassador Chloe Stuart again took up the 2023/24 season challenge. Stuart competed at the weekend’s opening round at Zwartkops Kart Raceway, where the series formed part of the Northern Regions Kart Championship.
Stuart had a solid start to her weekend after qualifying in third place on Saturday morning. She competed closely with her fellow racers, ultimately finishing just off the podium in fourth place. The second heat was even more intense, with the racing being closer than in the first. Stuart finished sixth in Heat 2 before recording her day’s best result in the final heat. Again battling for a podium position, she triumphed over some of her competitors to claim her first top three of the new season (third).
“It’s good to be back racing. We hope this season will be better than our last, and today wasn’t too bad. I would have liked to take a few wins, but it was challenging with some really close racing. While our new season has started, we hope to make it to Spain for the T4 Nations Cup in September. Thank you Victron Energy for the support as always,” said Stuart.
Round 2 of the T4 Series will continue on 12 August at the Formula-K Kart Circuit.
