This weekend, the Vereeniging Kart Circuit will be the battleground for the second round of the Northern Regions Rotax Kart Championships. Watch for Adriaan Steyn, a force to be reckoned with among the ten Micro MAX competitors entered. As the 2023 National and Northern Regions Bambino Champion, he’s ready to take on the challenge and show his mettle.
Steyn hopes to continue his strong form this season, which saw him claim a win and a runner-up spot at the opening round at Zwartkops Kart Raceway. Also noteworthy is that, like the opening round, Round 2 will also be points-scoring towards the South African Rotax Max Challenge (SARMC), the national championship.
Saturday commences with a Warm-Up Session ahead of Qualifying before three race heats conclude the day’s action. Spectators are welcome with entry free of charge.
