Motorsport South Africa (MSA) mourns the passing of Mustapha Innes Murudker, who passed away on Friday, 5 December.
A pioneering figure in South African motorsport, Innes made history with his 1989 Western Province Rally Championship victory, competing against leading names of the era and proving what determination and skill can achieve.
A respected businessman from the Athlone District, he also served as a Cape Town City Councillor and later as a director on the Board of Directors of Motorsport South Africa.
MSA extends our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and the wider motorsport community.
Rest in peace, Mustapha Innes Murudker. Your legacy will live on.
