Motorsport South Africa (MSA) is pleased to announce the next round of its National Marshals Training Programme.
This training forms part of the FIA Marshals Training Programme, which aims to develop and strengthen the skills of marshals who play a vital role in the safe running of motorsport events.
The upcoming training session is mandatory for all existing Motorsport South Africa marshals.
The training is also open to anyone aged 16 years or older who has a passion for motorsport and would like to become a marshal. Whether you are joining for the first time or looking to play an active role in motorsport, these sessions provide the knowledge and practical skills needed to support events safely and professionally.
Marshals are the backbone of every race meeting. They play a vital role in maintaining safety for competitors, officials and spectators while helping events run smoothly from start to finish.
The National Marshals Training Programme, supported by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), forms part of Motorsport South Africa’s ongoing commitment to developing well-trained, competent marshals across the country. The programme is aligned with FIA standards and focuses on improving safety knowledge, incident response and operational procedures to ensure South African motorsport continues to meet international best practice.
