Motorsport South Africa (MSA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ronald Venter as Chairman of the MSA Karting Management Group (KMG), with Mark Cronje joining the KMG as an interim member.
The appointments form part of MSA’s continued focus on the management, development and growth of karting in South Africa, while ensuring the karting community has a strong voice within MSA.
RONALD VENTER | KMG CHAIRMAN
Ronald Venter brings more than 30 years of motorsport experience, including off-road, enduro, rallying and Dakar, as well as extensive business and governance experience.
Since 2020, he has also been closely involved in karting through his son’s participation in Bambino, Cadet, Rotax, ROK and IAME at national and international level.
His experience in motorsport, business and karting will be valuable as he takes on the role of KMG Chairman.
MARK CRONJE | INTERIM KMG MEMBER
Mark Cronje has more than 30 years of motorsport experience, with a background covering karting, circuit racing, off-road racing, rallying and international competition.
He won the 2003 Rotax Max Grand Finals and has multiple South African National Karting Championship titles to his name.
Mark brings extensive karting experience and knowledge to the KMG and will serve as an interim member.
MSA welcomes Ronald and Mark to their respective roles and looks forward to their contribution to the continued development of karting in South Africa.
