Motorsport South Africa is pleased to announce the appointment of new heads to several of its motorcycle working groups, marking an important step in the continued growth and representation of women within the sport.
Nicole Purificati has been appointed as head of the MSA Circuit Motorcycle Working Group, taking over from Ian Harwood.
Miranda Du Plessis has been appointed to lead the MSA Cross Country Motorcycle Working Group, succeeding Neville Townsend.
Karen Weehuizen-Londt will now head the MSA Enduro Working Group, also taking over from Neville Townsend.
The appointments highlight the growing role of women in leadership positions within motorcycle sport in South Africa. Having women head these working groups is important in ensuring broader representation within the sport while continuing to support the administration and development of the various disciplines.
Motorsport South Africa extends its appreciation to the outgoing working group heads for their dedication and contribution to motorcycle sport and wishes the newly appointed leaders success in their new roles.
