South Africa’s William Marshall delivered a standout performance at the FIA OKN World Cup in Cremona, stunning the field of 90 drivers by taking pole position in qualifying.

He showed consistent pace throughout the heats, claiming two wins, a second and a fourth-place finish, despite suffering an engine seizure in Heat 3. Starting fifth in the Super Heat, Marshall dropped to seventh after the opening lap but stormed through the field to take a commanding victory.

In the Final, he lined up third but a miscalculation on tyre pressures cost him vital grip, ultimately finishing a hard fought fifth despite having the pace to challenge for the win and the world title.

It was an outstanding showing and a worldclass effort from the young South African.
