The South African Safari Rally, brought to you by Toyota Gazoo Racing, has brought the best rally-raid teams, riders, drivers, navigators from around the globe to compete in South Africa for the first time – producing a truly world-class event that has wowed competitors and motorsport fans alike.

As Round 3 of the 2025 2025 World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC), the six-day SA Safari Rally – which started on Monday 19 May 2025 with the Prologue, followed by five tough stages covering more than 1 200 km of fast and furious rally-raid action in the challenging African bushveld – has been a crucial event at the midway point in the championship battles for this year’s W2RC titles, in both the Bike and Car categories. It has also allowed dozens of South African and international teams to compete in the world’s premier rally-raid series on local soil.

Rally-raid fans and enthusiasts from all over the world can join the conclusion of this fantastic event on Saturday 24 May 2025 with the final press conference, podium and prize-giving, and the official closing ceremony to livestreamed on the South African Safari Rally Facebook page and YouTube channel.

The livestream will commence at 16h00, starting with the press conference for the top finishers, running through to 16h30. Highlights of the SA Safari Rally’s Prologue and Stages 1-4 will run from 16h30 to 18h00.

The final podium and prize-giving ceremonies kick off at 18h00 where the top three riders in each of the Bike categories (Quad, Malle Moto, Rally 2 and RallyGP) receive their medals. The overall SA Safari Rally winners will be crowned, and the top riders, teams and manufacturers competing in the FIM World Rally-Raid Championship will receive their trophies.

This will be followed by the awarding of medals to the top three finishers in the Car categories (SSV, Challenger and Ultimate), crowning the overall SA Safari Rally winners, and awarding trophies to the top-placed drivers and navigators, teams and manufacturers contesting the FIA W2RC.
