Motorsport South Africa is proud to celebrate Jordan Pepper, who has been awarded the Richard Seaman Trophy by the British Racing Drivers’ Club (BRDC) for the 2025 season.
The Richard Seaman Trophy is one of the BRDC’s most respected honours. It is presented each year to the highest placed BRDC member in the Gold Star points table who competes outside of Formula One. The award recognises exceptional achievement in international motorsport and commemorates the great British Grand Prix driver Richard Seaman, who raced for Mercedes-Benz in the 1930s.
Jordan’s award follows a standout season in GT World Challenge Europe and the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM). His consistency, pace and professionalism have made him one of the leading BRDC members competing internationally, and this recognition highlights the impact he continues to make on the global stage.
He received the trophy at the BRDC Annual Awards held on 17 December 2025 at the Pan Pacific London Hotel, where many of the sport’s top names gathered to celebrate the year’s achievements.
In his congratulatory letter, BRDC President David Coulthard MBE noted that the award “reflects your achievements in GT World Challenge Europe and DTM this season” and invited Jordan to join in celebrating “the successes and achievements of teams and drivers this season.”
Speaking about the honour, Jordan Pepper said:
“It is a real privilege to be recognised by the BRDC with this award. Competing in Europe against some of the best drivers in the world has been an incredible challenge and a huge learning experience. To have my efforts acknowledged in this way means a lot, not just to me, but to everyone who supports me back home in South Africa. I am proud to represent my country and to bring this trophy home.”
Motorsport South Africa extends its congratulations to Jordan on this outstanding achievement. His success not only underscores South Africa’s growing influence in international motorsport, but also stands as a powerful source of inspiration for the next generation of local drivers pursuing their dreams on the world stage.
