Jack Moore has successfully defended his National OK-Junior title, underlining his status as one of South Africa’s brightest karting stars. The Eastern Cape driver secured back-to-back national crowns after a consistent weekend at Red Star Raceway, where he managed the points situation with the calmness of a seasoned champion.
Unlike earlier rounds where outright victories were the goal, Moore arrived at the season finale knowing that consistency would be enough to wrap up the title. He kept his cool through every heat, banking the results required to seal the championship and put his name among the very best in the sport.
Moore’s campaign was built on a strong foundation. He opened the season with a solid showing at Red Star before bouncing back at Killarney with another standout performance. At his home event in Gqeberha, Jack stamped his authority on the title fight. By the time the field returned to Red Star for the final, the Xtreme Racing Team driver needed only to manage his points advantage. From 13 heats, Jack only missed the podium once while standing on the top step four times to deliver a champion’s performance. In the final round, Jack finished as runner-up, doing enough to secure the South African OK-Junior National title.
Reflecting on the achievement, Moore said:
“It feels incredible to win again and defend my title. This season wasn’t just about winning every race but about being smart and consistent. I’m grateful to my team and sponsors for all their support. To come away with another national championship is really special.”
Backed by Xtreme Racing, Puma South Africa, and Fleet Dynamics Group, Jack Moore’s latest triumph further cements his reputation as a driver destined for bigger stages.
