Motorsport South Africa congratulates Advocate André Bezuidenhout on his appointment to the FIA International Tribunal and the FIA International Court of Appeal following elections held at the FIA General Assembly in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan.

Bezuidenhout was elected by the General Assembly for a four year term of office, representing Motorsport South Africa on two of the FIA’s most senior judicial bodies. The appointments confirm South Africa’s continued representation within the global governance structures of international motor sport.

The FIA International Tribunal and International Court of Appeal serve as the highest judicial authorities in international motor sport, responsible for overseeing disciplinary matters and appeals across all FIA championships and activities.

Advocate Bezuidenhout brings extensive experience in motorsport law and governance to the role, having previously served on the International Court of Appeal. His appointment reflects both his standing within the sport and the confidence placed in Motorsport South Africa by the FIA.
