Motorsport South Africa (MSA) is delighted to confirm that rising karting star, Aleksander Praizovic, will represent South Africa in the esteemed FIA Karting Academy Trophy for juniors.

This prestigious international championship, sanctioned by the FIA, is a global benchmark for identifying and nurturing the next generation of motorsport talent. The series is renowned for its level playing field, with all participants competing in identical machinery. This unique format places the spotlight purely on driver ability, racecraft, and determination.

Aleksander’s selection is a direct result of his outstanding performance in the 2025 South African National OKJ Championship, where he secured a commendable third-place finish overall. This achievement highlighted him as one of the nation’s most promising young drivers.

The 2026 Junior Academy Trophy will challenge competitors across three iconic European circuits, providing Aleksander with a fantastic opportunity to test his skills against the best young drivers from around the world.

2026 CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy Calendar:
• May 21–24 – Genk, Belgium (Karting Genk)
• July 2–5 – Sarno, Italy (Circuito Internazionale Napoli)
• October 8–11 – Viterbo, Italy (Leopard Circuit)

This international campaign will be an invaluable step in Aleksander’s development as he continues to advance his motorsport journey.
