Motorsport South Africa (MSA) wishes to clarify its involvement in the 2026 Roof of Africa, which will take place in Lesotho as the sixth round of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship.
Following a thorough evaluation of the event and in accordance with the applicable FIM regulatory principles relating to the Hard Enduro World Championship event format, MSA confirms that it will exclusively sanction the Gold Class.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE: The Silver, Bronze and Iron Classes are not sanctioned or insured by MSA.
MSA GROUP ACCIDENT INSURANCE
The MSA Group Accident Insurance policy will apply only to:
Competitors entered in the Gold Class
Officials working within the Gold Class
Marshals operating within the Gold Class
Accredited media personnel operating within the Gold Class
Competitors holding FIM licences should note that any medical treatment or hospitalisation must be managed in accordance with their respective FIM insurance arrangements.
Competitors who hold an MSA Annual or One-Event National licence and are participating in the Gold Class are reminded of the provisions and requirements regarding the MSA GPA insurance policy.

PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE
Public liability coverage for the event is provided solely through the independent insurance arrangements of the event promoters, PTG EVENTS (PTY) LTD.
Accordingly, all enquiries relating to public liability insurance, as well as any potential claims, should be directed exclusively to the event promoters, PTG EVENTS (PTY) LTD.
