The 2026 MSA Media Safety Training Workshops will take place in September, with separate sessions being held for the Gauteng and Western Cape regions.
The workshops are designed to give delegates a balance of classroom-based theory and practical experience at the track. The theory session covers essential safety protocols, composition and industry best practices, while the practical session gives delegates the opportunity to put their knowledge into practice at a live motorsport event.
The workshops are mandatory for all trainee photographers seeking official MSA accreditation. They are also a valuable opportunity for motorsport photography and videography enthusiasts to improve their skills and learn more about working safely at live race events.
Training will be led by Dave Ledbitter and Abri de Bruin, who will guide delegates through the programme and share their experience and knowledge.
