The 2026 MSA SA National Cross Country Motorcycle Championship heads to Mahikeng this weekend for Round 4 of the championship, with racing taking place on 21 and 22 August.

The event will be held at Farm Twyfelhoek in Mahikeng, where riders from across the country will line up for another weekend of national championship competition.

The weekend gets underway on Friday with registration and scrutineering, followed by the Senior National Bikes Time Trial. Saturday will see the Junior and Senior National competitors take to the course, with racing continuing through to the afternoon before the prize-giving.

Round 4 will cater for a wide range of classes, from 50cc, 65cc, Junior 85cc and Senior 85cc in the junior category through to High School, Ladies, Seniors, Masters, and the OR1, OR2, OR3 and OPEN classes.

With the championship now reaching its fourth round, riders will be looking to make the most of the Mahikeng terrain as they continue their campaigns for national championship points.
