Motorsport South Africa (MSA) has announced the riders who will represent the country at the 2026 FIM Motocross of Nations (MXoN), taking place in Ernée, France, from 2 to 4 October 2026.


Widely regarded as the pinnacle of international team motocross, the annual event sees the world’s leading motocross nations compete for national honours, with each country fielding riders in the MX1, MX2 and MX Open classes.


The South African team for the 2026 edition comprises:
• MX1: Tristan Purdon
• MX2: Camden Mc Lellan
• MX Open: Slade Smith

The team will be managed by Lise Wosick, who will oversee the squad throughout the event.


The selected riders bring a wealth of experience at both national and international level and will carry South Africa’s hopes as they line up against the world’s best motocross talent.


MSA Motocross Commission President Neville Townsend congratulated the team on their selection and wished them well for the event.


“We trust that the selected South African team will have a successful event and we hope that each rider has a positive experience from this wonderful opportunity enabled by Motorsport South Africa and their affiliation to FIM Africa and FIM. Motorsport South Africa wishes the South African team the very best as they prepare to represent the country at the 2026 FIM Motocross of Nations in Ernée, France, this October.
