The South African National Hotrod Tour returned to action on 6 June as Round 2 took place at Star Raceway in Klerksdorp, delivering an evening packed with close racing, fierce competition, and memorable performances.

With valuable championship points on offer, competitors pushed hard throughout the event, producing thrilling wheel to wheel battles around the fast and challenging oval. Drivers and teams arrived determined to strengthen their championship campaigns, and the racing reflected just how much was at stake.

Jason Loosemore Continues Winning Form

Jason Loosemore once again demonstrated why he is one of the drivers to beat this season. Following his success in Round 1, Loosemore produced another composed and consistent performance to secure overall victory at Star Raceway.

His ability to remain at the front throughout the evening earned him maximum rewards and further strengthened his position in the championship standings.

Neville Loosemore continued his strong start to the season with another podium finish. A calculated and measured drive ensured he remained firmly in contention for top honours, while Seef Fourie completed the overall podium after one of his strongest performances of the season.

Pro Am Category Showcases Emerging Talent

The Pro Am category once again highlighted the depth of talent within the National Hotrod Tour.

Edwald Grobbelaar claimed a well deserved victory after delivering a mature and consistent performance throughout the event. His pace and racecraft allowed him to stay ahead of the competition and secure top honours in the category.

Ruan Nagel continued to impress with another strong performance, while Chris Landsburg completed the podium following a determined drive that kept him in the battle throughout the evening.

Fourie Sets the Pace

While Seef Fourie secured third place overall, he also demonstrated exceptional speed by recording the fastest lap of the evening.
