Ryan van Nieuwkerk is gearing up for the next round of the MSA Short Circuit GP Club Championship, set to take place on 30 May at the Formula K Kart Circuit.
Coming from a strong motorsport background, Ryan’s passion for racing started at an early age through his father’s involvement in the sport. Since then, he has steadily built his reputation in motorcycle racing and currently competes in multiple classes.
Ryan has already made his mark on the local racing scene through his participation in the MSA Short Circuit GP, MRSSA National Challenge and Redstar Raceway Club Championship. One of his standout achievements so far includes setting a 1:53.4 lap time aboard a Yamaha R6 at Redstar Raceway.
Known for describing his riding style as “aggressive, unique and passionate”, Ryan continues to develop both on and off the circuit while remaining focused on enjoying the journey and learning from every race weekend.
The upcoming third round of the MSA Short Circuit GP Club Championship is expected to deliver another competitive day of racing as riders from across the country head to Formula K Kart Circuit for a full programme of short circuit action.
