As Chase Haskins prepares for Round 3 of the 2026 Investchem MSA4 Championship at Zwartkops Raceway this weekend, the Kokoro Racing Academy rookie continues to impress with his rapid rise through the South African motorsport ranks. Still in his first year of competitive motorsport, Chase returns to the national Extreme Festival stage eager to build on the momentum gained during the previous round where he scored his maiden championship points.

The Johannesburg youngster has quickly established himself as one of the championship’s most promising newcomers, showcasing maturity and adaptability beyond his limited experience. Balancing his development between circuit racing and competing in both the national and regional ROK Cup karting championships, Chase continues to sharpen his racecraft each time he climbs behind the wheel.

Round 2 delivered a breakthrough top-eight finish for the teenage rookie, and with confidence steadily growing, Chase heads into Zwartkops focused on taking another step forward against a highly experienced MSA4 field. While many of his rivals boast years of knowledge around the Pretoria circuit, Chase approaches the weekend knowing he will once again need to learn rapidly and maximise every session.

Without the advantage of extensive laps around what many competitors consider their home circuit, the Kokoro Racing Academy driver remains focused on his own progression as he continues to develop his understanding of both the car and circuit racing at national level.

“I’m really looking forward to getting back into the MSA4 car this weekend,” said Chase. “Every round is a massive learning experience for me because I’m still very new to circuit racing compared to most of the drivers around me. Zwartkops is a track many of the guys know extremely well, so for me the focus is on building up steadily through practice, understanding the setup, and getting more comfortable with the car every session. Scoring my first championship points last time out was a big confidence boost, and hopefully we can keep progressing and challenge for a top-five result this weekend.”

The Investchem MSA4 field takes to the circuit on Friday for practice before qualifying and two races form part of Saturday’s National Extreme Festival programme.
