Motorsport fans are in for an unforgettable day of adrenaline, excitement, and family fun as Dezzi Raceway, just an hour from Durban, hosts Round 4 of the KZNRRC Super Sprint Series 2025 on Saturday, 19 July.
Whether you are planning a Dad and Lads outing or looking for a thrilling family adventure this school holiday, this event promises a motorsport experience to remember.
Spectators will be treated to high speed action with the 3 Seven Super Sprint format, featuring three races per class and showcasing some of KwaZulu-Natal’s top driving and riding talent. The series takes place on the challenging 2.5-kilometre seaside circuit, known for producing close, competitive racing.
The South African Legends Cars join the line-up as a visiting class, renowned for their door-to-door, bumper-to-bumper battles that keep crowds on their feet. The programme also features a wide variety of classes including:
- 150cc & Super Production Motorcycles
- Historic Cars
- Mini GP Motorcycles
- Modified Cars
- Motard Motorcycles
- Super GT & Sports Cars
- Sub-500 & Formula Extreme Motorcycles
The excitement doesn’t stop there. The day concludes with the 3rd Round of the KZNRRC Backdraft 1 Hour Endurance Race, a true test of speed, stamina, and teamwork. Anticipation is building for a 30-plus car grid, including 19 roaring V8 Backdraft Cobras, along with Modifieds, Historic entries, and Sports Cars all thundering into Sardine Corner for a spectacular finale.
Spectator friendly and family focused, Dezzi Raceway offers a festive atmosphere with plenty of open space around the track. Fans can pack their own picnic or gas braai, or enjoy delicious food and refreshments from a range of vendors offering curry, burgers, pancakes, coffee, and more.
