Through your lens, motorsport comes alive. Now it is time to show the motorsport community what you see.
Motorsport South Africa proudly invites all MSA accredited photographers, including trainees, to enter the prestigious 2025 Steve Wicks Photographer of the Year Award.
This is your chance to have your work recognised on the national stage and celebrated among the best in the business.
Each photographer may submit up to three (3) of their finest motorsport images, capturing not only the speed, drama and emotion of racing itself, but also the moments that bring an event to life such as the people, the passion, and the stories beyond the track.
Entries must:
• Be in digital format (3MB to 6MB each) – no watermarks
• Include a short description of the moment captured
• State the MSA event name, date, and location
Your work will be judged by an independent panel of experts who will select the image that truly captures the spirit of South African motorsport.
The winner will be honoured at the MSA National Awards Function in Johannesburg on 30 November 2025.
This is not just a competition. It is an opportunity to etch your name alongside South Africa’s most celebrated motorsport photographers.
