The 2025 intake for Daniel Pienaar Technical High School’s motorsport programme was introduced yesterday. Returning students took their seats at the back of the auditorium, while new students filled the front rows, eager to begin their journey.
Teachers Frans Vermaak (programme lead), Paul Ludeke (recently back from Dakar 2025 with South Racing), and Wesley Schultz (navigator and teacher) addressed the students alongside Sparky Bright from Motorsport South Africa. They highlighted the opportunities in motorsport and how students can apply their experience beyond school.
In the coming weeks, students will explore various roles in motorsport, from technical positions to officiating and beyond.
