The penultimate round of the 2020 National ROK Cup Championship will see Parolin Racing South Africa enter eight competitors for the iDube Kart Circuit round scheduled to be held over November 21-22. While the team have competed at the KZN-based circuit earlier this year, none have done so in a Vortex-powered ROK kart.
In Kid ROK, Aadam Kajee will be looking to improve on his performance at previous rounds where he claimed one victory thus far this season.
Mini ROK will again see the majority of Parolin pilots entered, with three also competing in the U/10 Mini ROK Championship. While Cape Town-based driver, Joaquin de Oliveira cannot make the trip, Kent Swarts will join stable-mates, Christopher Tait and Moosa Kajee in the outright Mini ROK championship battle. Georgia Lenaerts, Berlin Robinson and Caleb Odendaal will vie for the U/10 Mini ROK Championship.
Tyler Robinson will fly the Parolin colours in the OK-Junior class in the absence of Mika Abrahams, who too won’t make it to the event.
Saturday will see six practice sessions ahead of a full race program on Saturday that will include Qualifying and three Race heats. Sunday’s racing will be live-streamed from the Rok Cup SA’s Facebook page.
