Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) is a government department mandated to collect, analyse and disseminate official statistics. In this time of unprecedented crisis, accurate and real time statistics are critical to ensure government is able to make decisions based on evidence.
Stats SA has developed a survey to assist government to better understand how the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions put in place to deal with it, including the lock-down, are affecting those living in South Africa. This is the second wave of the survey, and addresses employment and income-related issues, including hunger.
Please take time to complete the survey, provided that:
- You are over 18 years of age
- You agree to voluntarily provide information related to your understanding and sentiment regarding the COVID-19 emergency.
Please click on the following link to complete the survey: http://uss.statssa.gov.za/WebInterview/SPZZQA2C/Start
It should not take more than 10 minutes to complete. Your responses are anonymous and no personal information will be recorded. The survey closes on Tuesday the 5th of May (end of day).
