“The Kyalami Marshals Association (KMA), will be hosting an induction course for new marshals at Kyalami on Saturday, 27 March at 7.00 am

Any person older than the age of 16 who is interested in marshalling may attend.

he basic induction course emphasizes track discipline, track safety, personal safety, correct clothing, basic flag and fire training etc. There are many opportunities for further themselves in the field of marshalling until the ultimate position of Chief Marshal is reached.

Once a marshal has completed the basic induction and have attended 3 regional or national race meetings and the Post Chief and the Chief Training Officers are happy with the trainee’s performance, plus the successful completion of a written examn, the marshal will be upgraded to a Grade 1 marshal.
