Round one of South African Rok Cup takes place at Laserfiche Raceway this weekend (16 March 2019) and a full complement of Praga drivers are ready to race for team pride.
Praga is a popular choice in Kid Rok, with a third of the field opting to use the chassis. Luke Hill will be leading the charge, with Goran Gruben hot on his heels. Grayson van Zummeren and Keagan Beaumont will be in the thick of the action, as will Angelo Barchini and Tyler Repsold, all of whom represented the team at the recent regional.
Reagile Mailula will be making his National debut on Saturday.
Mini Rok is going to be action packed and following his regional performance, KC Ensor-Smith will be challenging for the win. Luke Hill will also be racing in the class and is looking good to take honours in the under 10 division. Ashton Repsold will round out the team’s entries.
Praga will field three entries in OKJ. Jarrod Waberski has shown incredible pace in the class and is going all out for championship honours. Alessio Angelucci will be back in action this weekend and may just catch a few seasoned campaigners by surprise. Aiden Hall continues to grow in OKJ and will be another Praga entry to keep an eye on.
Qualifying will be at 10h00 on Saturday, followed by three heats for each category.
